This painting is based on a dream. The dream speaks to the new season in life called "Walking on Water." Faith progression starts with walking on water which is about Jesus Christ is the only solid ground when you decide to step onto the waters.
When you step out of the boat to walk, you look at the shore as you hear in the quiet voice, "Walk toward the horizon." The horizon of the water leads to waves. As you see waves, you learn that you can walk on the wave, not just the calm waters.
This painting is a progression from walking on water to walking on waves to dancing on the wave. When our faith progress, we can learn to dance on the wave where we might not control the wave.
